Ciel couldn't believe that after three different rounds of playing chest with Serena-he was bested by her. Serena had a very good poker face and didn't show any signs as to what she was going to do next as she had played the game with him. Mitchel and Mark were both impressed with what they had seen-and by the time the duo had finished with their third game Nile and Noha had came back. At that time Mitchel took Serena and Ciel to a nearby park that was in walking distance so they could decorate things for Serena.
Ciel had no idea what to do at the park unlike Serena who instantly went onto the tire swing and asked Mitchel to push her. Mitchel did happily, after it had slowed down Serena sat down differently on the tire swing and held her hand out to Ciel to have him go on the swing with her. He took her hand and went onto the swing with her as he sat across from her. Mitchel pushed them, and Ciel instantly held onto the metal chains of the swing as he looked at Serena to see her smiling.
"This isn't too bad is it?" She asked him curiously
"No...I'm just not used to it that's all." He said looking at her weakly
"It'll be a bit before you're able to get used to this stuff." Serena said with a smile
As it slowed down she showed him around the playground and played tag with him and Mitchel. After a bit of time Mitchel was called and they were told to come back, so the three of them went back and Serena was very excited to see so much pokemon stuff. She played games with Noah's family, Ciel and her father until the pizza for that night had came to the door. While they were having dinner Mark had left out part way through saying he had to get something. So she was left with Ciel and Noah's family for a bit which she didn't mind since she was enjoying having her dinner. After she had dinner she was able to open the presents that were wrapped up.
Excitedly she opened each presents to see that she had gotten a nintendo DS and a pokemon game to go with it, she also got more pokemon cards and two more pokemon plushes as well as a strawberry short cake doll that came with it's own small closet with clothes as well as Strawberry shortcakes two pets-Custard the cat and Pupcake the puppy. She also got a few puzzles to do which made her really happy to have. At that time her father came back with a cake and with ice cream.
Serena went towards her father only to see that it was a pokemon themed cake . He placed two candles on the cake before he lit them up, afterwards they all sang 'happy birthday' to her before she blew out the candles without making a wish knowing better than to do so. Once the cake was being served Serena's eyes lit up tasting the strawberry cake. She was more than happy to have her cake with the strawberry ice cream to match with it. After having cake Serena packed what she had as well as Ciel's things that were still there, afterwards their things were placed in marks car.
The two kids then left out with Mark, on the drive back home-Serena ended up falling asleep against Ciel, who had also fallen asleep until the car stopped. When Ciel realized that she had fallen asleep agianst him he didn't know what to do until Mark had picked up his daughter and took her inside. He lied her down and he took her shoes off as Ciel had came in with the things that her father had gotten for her. Ciel took his shoes off and chose to sleep beside her in the clothes he wore as he gave her the plush that she had picked out at the store. Once he was asleep beside her he had another nightmare.
The nightmare took place in the eyes of someone within his own time. He soon saw that it was in the eyes of Finny-he saw that everything looked the same around the manor-except the fact that he no longer wore an eyepatch over his eye. Everything else seemed the same-and his brother seemed to have been nicer to all of those around. Especially to Lizzy who was smiling and a lot happier with his brother than when she was around him. He pulled out of the dream only to see that Serena was beside him and she looked worried.
"Ciel, you were crying in your sleep. A-Are you okay?"
He didn't say anything, he instead chose to hug her tightly and cry against her. Serena rubbed his back softly. "It's okay Ciel, I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere."
"I...I saw where I was from through one of my helpers. Lizzy...she's happier without me there. Everyone seemed happier without me there."
Serena wiped the tears from his face before she cupped his face in her hands. "They may be happy without you there-but I can tell you right now, that I would never be happy without you in my life. You are my only friend Ciel and for that I'm thankful."
He placed his hands over hers. "T-thank you very much for saying that Serena, w-we should sleep."
"Mhm. we should....you can cuddle close to me if you wish."
He was more than happy to cuddle closely to her and hold her within his arms. The next day Serena woke up for school like she regularly would and she saw her father up drinking coffee. "Hey kiddo, you're up early."
"School."
"You're still gonna try to go even with what happened to you on friday?"
"I don't want to hide away from my problems. Just...is there's anything that can be done about my teacher and the people who bully me?" Serena asked sadly
"There is actually something that I can do, I've been putting it off since I didn't really want to deal with kids without the knowledge of who my lost daughter was. But now that I have you here with me, I can help you out with that little problem of yours."
Her eyes lit up happily. "Thank you papa!" She said before she hugged him tightly.
He hugged her back before getting her breakfast, afterwards she got herself ready for school and she got ciel up. When he saw she was in different clothes he sat up rubbing his eye. "Are you really going to try to go to that school again?"
She nodded her head. "I don't want to hide and be a coward."
"You aren't going to be a coward for wanting to take time to adjust to what had happened to you Serena." Ciel stated
"I know, but this is what I want to do."
"Alright then."
Serena then went to get her school things before Mark gave her a piece of paper. "Give this to your principal, Make sure he reads this before you go to your first class."
"Yes papa, understood!" She said before she left out
As she walked to the school she read what was written on the piece of paper.

It has come to my attention that my daughter Serena has been bullied on the second of may when she had gone to school after she had been sexually violated by one of her cousins. She had taken the first off due to orders from the doctor, she should have come back to school on the sixth-but she is trying to be brave and go to school as per usual. But she has been singled out by her teacher and bullied by her peers by them calling her inappropreate names that no young woman should hear after being sexually assaulted. If you do not correct what has happened I will have to force my hand and you will not like the force that I will place upon that school.

Serena soon got to the school and she went straight to the main office where she asked to see the principal about an urgent topic. She was taken to the principal who smiled seeing her. "Morning Serena, what can I do you for."
"Two things Sir, first-the adoptive family who took care of me is no longer taking care of me...I-I found my blood father. He's now taking care of me."
